I was always intrigued by intuition and how to develop it.
I read books on it.
I meditated on silent retreats.
I became a Yoga Teacher.
I personally explored astrology and human design.
Had energy healings.
Studied under an initiated Shaman who taught me about different levels of awareness and intuition.
Meditated several times with an ordained Zen Buddhist Teacher who taught me about the simplicity and wisdom of the mind, body and spirit.
It wasn't until recently though, that I realised there was a formula, a blueprint for how you can enhance your intuition.
Yes it's unique for everyone.
But there's a way you can uplevel your intuition by merging different technologies from eastern traditions, alternative approaches and western science.

But what exactly is intuition?

It's really pretty simple.
Tune into moments when you are listening only to your senses, not your thinking, logical, planning and doing mind.
Here are my favourite tools to help you do this:
Meditation: Meditation allows you to tune into the subtle whispers of your inner knowing. It quietens the logical and thinking mind, allowing for insights to appear.
Body awareness: Yoga and moving your body in a way that you love connects you to your physical sensations, often the first signs of intuition.
Reflection: Reflecting on your patterns and insights starts to reveal your intuition over time, something your conscious mind often misses.
Nature: Being in nature gives you more sensory information, from what you can see, hear, feel. It opens your senses, an imperative first step to hearing your inner wisdom.
Intuition is a muscle that needs training and repetition.
The more you listen, the stronger and clearer it becomes.
Trust the gut feeling that urges you to:
Take a different route.
Go to a random shop or event.
Pick up a specific book on your bookshelf.
The sudden inspiration that sparks a creative idea
But if you don't get any of these, don't worry.
I didn't for a long time either.
My over-thinking, mind games and desperate need for external validation dulled out any sort of knowing or strong sense of my intuition.
Know this.
Intuition is unique.
Intuition illuminates your path, but only if you know how to listen to what it's saying.
Intuition leads you to your authentic self.
Intuition unfolds in front of you, allowing your wildest dreams to come true.
